Gumotex manufactures in several market segments. the brief company history is as follows.

1950 – Opening of the first workshops in Břeclav

1952 – Company assumes the name GUMOTEX

1956 – Manufacture of inflatable leisure time products

1991 – Transformation into the joint-stock company

1994 – Manufacture of rescue system products was launched, distribution under the trademarks of foreign customers

1995 – Certification ISO 9001

2008 – Products for rescue systems under the brand Gumotex Rescue Systems were introduced

Manufacturing today includes inflatable products (mattresses, boats, tents, showers and others). Car interior parts (sun visors, seats, head rests). Layered and coated textiles and rubber mixtures.

Inflatable boats and kayaks are produced without using internal PVC bladders. All the craft are manufactured with coated fabric for durability with a high ripstop capability. The Nitrilon fabric does not absorb water and so at the end of your day on the water, just wipe with a cloth and the kayak is dry.
